First, I am excited to announce that I'm now posting this on my new website! I've been working on it for a while now, so I'm glad to have it up and running. I joined The Artisan Group this year and I've had the opportunity to participate in two different events recently. The first was sending a new necklace of mine to the stylist of The Vampire Diaries. You may have seen that on my Facebook page already. I'll post more about that here later. For now I'm thinking about fashion, or more specifically, New York Fashion Week!
In association with The Artisan Group, I will be participating in an invitation-only luxury celebrity gift lounge hosted by GBK Productions on September 6-7, 2013 at an exclusive location in New York, in honor of The 2013 New York Fashion Week. All attending celebrities will receive my business cards in their swag bags!
When I reserved my spot in this event I knew I needed to update my business cards to make them noteworthy. I decided to go with Moo.com since they offer "infinity printing." If you're not familiar with them they offer short runs of 50 double-sided business cards with the option of having a different image on EVERY card! Swoon! I ended up getting 100 cards total with 30 different images.
I updated my info to include my new website, updated logo, and social media links as well. But on to the good stuff - pictures!
I was a little nervous to shell out the money for "fancy" business cards but these are soooooo amazing. I love the glossy finish and the colors are fantastic! Now when I want to give someone a card I fan them out and let them pick their favorite (that way they're more likely to keep it around!)
I also added a few new and more recent images which will be arriving in my shop shortly. And of course jewelry!
I hope you enjoyed your summers as well! What was your favorite thing you did this summer? Mine was visiting my family in Colorado. There will definitely be lots of photos from that trip coming up, hopefully soon. We are about to start school in a week and a half. Jasmine is in 1st grade and Connor will be doing preschool this year. I won't be teaching H.S. photography though, I need the time to focus on the kids schooling and keep up with blogging etc. Here's to a great year!
